CHIROPRACTIC CARE

The most common indications for a chiropractic evaluation include localized pain or joint stiffness, abnormal gait, and poor performance. Chiropractic treatment begins with an initial evaluation to gather pertinent patient history, discuss any areas of concerns, and an assessment of the entire musculoskeletal system including the horse’s range of motion in the individual joints of the spinal column and extremities. Once any restricted areas are identified, manipulations will be made to restore symmetrical movement. After the horse has been evaluated, the doctor will be able to make recommendations on the frequency of treatments moving forward.

Some of our doctors also utilize laser therapy in conjunction with chiropractic and acupuncture treatment to help decrease inflammation.
